Movie Reviews

WaffleMovies.com - 6/10 by Willie WaffleClaudia Myers fills the movie with the rhythms, jokes and turning points of a sit-com or romantic comedy, making Kettle of Fish a delightful, funny, comfortable diversion
TV Guide Magazine - 5/10 by Maitland McDonaghIt's a sorry state of affairs when a goldfish and a frog (Ginger's prize specimen, unsubtly named Casanova) have more chemistry than a romantic comedy's human leads.
Washington Post - 5/10 by Desson ThomsonKettle of Fish, starring Matthew Modine as a commitment-skittish saxophone player, is a warm-spirited romantic comedy, but it tends to have a squawky pitch.
Variety - 5/10 by Ronnie ScheibPic contains its share of viable gags and stars generate a certain degree of convincing chemistry. But eventually, the seams in personality design and artificially stitched-together script construction begin to show.
Boston Globe - 4/10 by Ty BurrThe result is movie goulash: made with love, impossible to digest.
New York Daily News - 4/10 by Elizabeth WeitzmanWriter-director Claudia Myers' clunky debut feature makes the case that first-timers should probably focus on either writing or directing.
Cinematical - 3/10 by Karina LongworthIt has its charms, and to those generally susceptible to well-done examples of genre, it'll probably be a delight.
Greenwich Village Gazette - 2/10 by Eric LurioThere is one truly great scene in this here movie and I'm not too sure if sitting through the awful-to-mediocre crap that precedes and follows it is actually worth the trouble.
New York Post - 2/10 by Lou LumenickYou gotta give credit to any first-time direc tor who attempts an homage to classic screwball comedies on a shoestring budget, even if Kettle of Fish ends up not exactly being the catch of the week.
User Review - 10/10 by Mark SSO SWEET! Just don't be cynical, okay! Just watch it and enjoy it! If you dont like chick flicks, then dont watch it! It is sweet, so if you do, then WATCH IT!:)
