Theres a thin linking tale here about a survivor of the war and a woman wanting the puppets which is interesting enough but nothing mind blowing and all shot on one location. Its the clips of the previous films that really make this film and this will also determine if you decide to watch it. If you want something original then dont bother as its all clips but if thats what your looking for then your in for a treat! They focus more on the ww2 tales rather than the 80s puppet movies. Its a great movie to have on in the background or for a night in with the lads or lasses but it is really nothing more than a collection of clips! |

| User ReviewRobert HWhen the new Puppet Master returns to the Bodega Bay Inn he is followed by a mysterious woman who will stop at nothing to get the secret of the puppets. OK, this isn't really a new installment in the franchise, as it is really just a compilation movie with a couple of new framing scenes thrown in. So there isn't really anything i can say about the clips that I haven't already covered in previous reviews. The new scenes do clear up one answered piece of storyline relating to 'Puppet Master III' and 'Retro Puppet Master', but apart form that are just there as linking devices, and the finale just makes no sense whatsoever!! The clips used from the previous entries are of varying quality and the director has tried to put them in chronological order, but due to the meandering nature of the 'Puppet Master' universe, this proves to be very difficult and just serves to highlight some of the problems the franchise has on the whole. So, trying to rate this 'movie' does prove to be difficult and even though I would not really recommend it to anyone (except for die hard fans of the series) I have given the score I have as it is a kind of 'greatest hits' of the franchise and there were a lot of sequences that I did enjoy when I watched them in their respective movies. |

| User Reviewstefán birgir sA Puppet master clip show, which does it's best to put the convoluted and contradictory story into a semi coherent chronology which either ties things off for future films to start afresh, or finally gets the series to an agreed point from which it can continue....only time and the next Puppet Master sequel will tell. |
