Leave your thoughts about Freddy vs. Jason.
Critic DoctorPeter SobczynskiFreddy vs. Jason has a fun, junky spirit to it that is compulsively watchable and when looked at in the right frame of mind, it is a surprisingly satisfying experience.
Chicago ReaderBrian ThomasThis long-awaited monster mash should satisfy fans of the "Friday the 13th/A Nightmare on Elm Street" franchises.
Film Freak CentralWalter ChawOffers the curiously heady equation of its titular bogeys to some sort of modern holy pantheon.
Dallas Morning NewsGary DowellA goofy but occasionally fun novelty that's more enjoyable than it has any right to be.
Supercala.comJohn VenableFreddy tends to the laughs, Jason takes care of the body count, and the result is great fun!
eFilmCritic.comRob GonsalvesIt's a cleverly wrapped gift to me and every horror fan like me, and I feel nothing but affection for it.
Sydney Morning HeraldSacha MolitoriszIt may not be an all-time classic, but it's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp blade/finger.
Commercial Appeal (Memphis, TN)John BeifussAt the rowdy preview I attended, Jason emerged as the crowd favorite. Apparently, moviegoers identify more closely with a mute overgrown child-brute than with a smart-alecky child-killer.
Radio Free EntertainmentAndrew ManningA solid, entertaining bloodbath that will appease most fans of the genre.
Seattle Post-IntelligencerWilliam ArnoldDoesn't have any of the creepy suspense that graced the first "Friday" movies, and very little of the Daliesque dream imagery of the early "Nightmares." It's just a slam-bang succession of gross-out mutilations, played for giggles.
