Ozus' World Movie Reviews - 7/10 by Dennis SchwartzAbsurd musical curio, that wants us to believe that slavery can be good if the white owner is benevolent.
User Review - 6/10 by James HInteresting film, a great score and some wonderful singing. Historically significant, good art direction and an interesting plot. Well done.
User Review - 4/10 by Greg WGrossly exaggerated depiction of slave life, but has a positive message.
