Video-Reviewmaster.comSteve CrumIn my book, THE best of the "Pink Panthers"; Sellers is quite hilarious.
F5 (Wichita, KS)Jake EukerThe most enjoyable of the '70s Pink Panther sequels.
NewsweekJanet MaslinThere has to come a time when inspiration gives way to habit, and I think the Pink Panther series is just about at that point. That's not to say this film isn't funny -- it has moments as good as anything Sellers and Edwards have ever done -- but that it's time for them to move on.
The New York TimesVincent CanbyBoth Mr. Sellers and Mr. Edwards delight in old gags, and part of the joy of The Pink Panther Strikes Again is watching the way they spin out what is essentially a single routine, such as one fellow's trying, unsuccessfully, to help another fellow out of a lake.
Movie MetropolisJohn J. PuccioThe comedy is broader and more cartoonish than before, but it is as funny as ever.
User ReviewCamille LOne of the best Comedies, a great followup that matches if not supersedes the original Pink Panther. Great acting, and lots of laughs.
User ReviewPhillip HOne of the funniest movies I have ever seen.
User ReviewCharles MMy favourite Panther movie. Would you believe it contains the joke, "Excuse me, does your dog bite?" "No." "Hello little doggy." Dog bites him savagely! "I thought you said your dog did not bite!" The punchline...."That is not my dog!" Ha ha. Actually the film is a whole lot better than that offering. Highly recommend it. Pleased to say it constantly lives up to my expectations. I watched this daily as a teenager. Loved it then. Love it now. Perfect direction and editing. My personal fantasy Masters of Cinema addition.
