User ReviewRyan DA forgotten gem of endles imagination, excitement and folk charm. A loving and beautiful portrait of New Mexico. Sonia Braga is excellent, as is the entire supporting cast. Robert Redford directs with a sense of vision that many have forgotten this film had. Rating: * * * * (Hot)

User ReviewSteve Wgood one I loved this movie it just like that for a mexican just to fight to live on his own ancestors land.
User ReviewUncle BI simply loved this movie. It has everything you could ask for. The setting is in New Mexico and captures the local color very well. Character development is extreemly good, you will fall in love with some of the characters and hate others. If you like to laugh there are moments that will split your side and then later you will wipe away a tear from your cheek. This movie remains true to the book. I read the book first and the movie helped visualize what was in the book. After you see this movie you cannot help but to talk and laugh about it for days to come.
