User ReviewSteve TThe Human Experience by Grassroots Films is probably the most important film of 2009. I was able to view this film and attend a QA with the directors. Their experience in making a movie of this kind will surely lead to other great films about the raw dignity of the human person. See this movie. It will not disappoint.
User ReviewCarl TWhen is the last time you cried in a movie because it really meant something to you? This documentary is excellent and really makes you think about how you live and how you treat people. I would recommend this to anyone!
User ReviewCliff BEveryone should watch this film at least once in their life.

User ReviewJohn WReally well done. A perfect illustration of how to approach the world, as seen through the eyes of imperfect and damaged young men . . . from sleeping with NYC's homeless, to working with the orphans of Lima, to sitting with the lepers of Ghana. Good stuff. Really good stuff.
User ReviewJoshua WThis documentary follows the travels of a group of young men from Brooklyn who sought to better understand what defines the human experience. They started their journey in New York where they lived in a homeless community during the coldest week of the year. Next, they traveled to Peru where they assisted hospitalized children with special medical needs. Finally, they ventured out of their comfort zone to befriend men and women with HIV/AIDS and patients in a leper colony in Ghana. Everything in this film was true, and the filmmakers really let the beauty of life shine forth, especially by showing their own lives in such a vulnerable way. This story was truly inspirational and reminds us that, no matter how different people may be in culture, religion, or background, they are all human and deserve the love of others. Additionally, the score for this film was excellently suited for the content and really made the experience even more rich. I highly recommend this film!
User ReviewEmily GLoved the movie! At the end I started to think I wanted more from the different experienes, but looking on it now the message was clear and I just didn't see it at first. Each experience/person had the same underlining message of "the human experience" involved. Great film!!
