What Steve doesn't know is that the crocodile has innocently swallowed a top secret US satellite beacon, and the poachers are actually American special agents sent to retrieve it. Crikey! In the Outback and through the bush with his wife Terri's ever-present commentary ringing out over the countryside ("That was a close one, Steve!"), the Crocodile Hunter is out to save the gorgeous croc and relocate him. It won't be easy, but if he can handle bird-eating spiders and venomous snakes without getting bitten, gun-wielding agents shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Movie Reviews

KBTV-NBC (Beaumont, TX) - 9/10 by Danny MintonWatching Steve come close to death has never been more fun.
Matinee Magazine - 9/10 by Nick SchagerModestly entertaining romp through the Australian Outback.
Supercala.com - 9/10 by John VenableThere has not been a worse movie released this year.
Journal News (Westchester, NY) - 9/10 by Marshall FineIrwin is so earnest that it's hard to resist his pleas to spare wildlife and respect their environs. There are far worse messages to teach a young audience, which will probably be perfectly happy with the sloppy slapstick comedy.
Film Journal International - 8/10 by David NohThis tirelessly jolly enthusiast proves a more than worthy film subject, with daredevil stunts which surpass anything seen since the glory days of Douglas Fairbanks (and with terrifying beasts, no less).
Supercala.com - 8/10 by Paul SalfenOne of the most unbearable movies in recent history.
Chicago Sun-Times - 8/10 by Roger EbertForget the plot. The movie is really about Steve and Terri taking us on a guided tour of the crocs, snakes, deadly insects and other stars of the outback fauna. Steve's act is simplicity itself.
Los Angeles Times - 8/10 by John AndersonSo refreshing and funny and, in its way, sophisticated.
Entertainment Weekly - 8/10 by Lisa SchwarzbaumThe mad genius of this cheerily bonkers feature is the integration of a documentary-style safari into an outlandish fiction involving a fancy-pants CIA pursuit of a downed spy satellite, and a shotgun-wielding outback widow.
Aisle Seat - 8/10 by Mike McGranaghanThe Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course is one of the most unusual movies I've ever seen, but it remains faithful to Irwin's appeal, and therefore it works.
