After a mix-up with a member of the Royal Family, traffic wardens Eric and Ernie decide to take a holiday to the South Of France. However, when they arrive there, they find themselves caught up in the plot of Le Pirate who has stolen a collection of valuable jewels and plans to use Eric and Ernie to smuggle the collection out of France. However, other jewel thieves are after the jewels and Eric continues to find their bodies in the villa just before it disappears. However, while they fight over the love of Claudette, Eric and Ernie begin to wonder just what is going on, and begin to investigate. As to Claudette, whose side is she on...?

| User Reviewgary twell umn just seen this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is a good movie 2 watch.....its got a good cast of actors/actressess throughout this movie....i think that eric morecambe, ernie wise, suzanne lloyd, paul stassino, armand mestral, gerald lawson play good roles/parts throughout this movie....i think that the director of this comic caper/comedy/classic movie had done a good job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie.....i think that this a good movie 2 watch its a really funny movie with a good cast thorughout this movie ...its an enjoayble movie 2 watch |

| User ReviewRussell SWith Eric and Ernie's charm and likeability coupled with Suzanne Lloyd's sex appeal and chemistry with the boys, it's a pity that this isn't a better movie. As it is, it's passable and reasonably entertaining but another draught of the script and a little more actual location filming in France wouldn't have gone amiss. |

The Two Are Fighting For The Affections Of Claudette, Who Starts To Use Them At First But Eventually Falls In Love With The Two. Not A Perfect Film But Filled With Plenty Of Retro Slapstick. |
