User ReviewMatilda AIn the collection. I know the dialogue. The Goldie I want to be.
User ReviewA CThis is another one I could watch every day (if only my wife liked it more). Solid characterizations, and loads of clever dialogue. P: What did you see? G: Why? P: I'm curious... G: No, I know it wasn't that. A romantic comedy without the expected happy ending. With Diana Dors and a guy who played one of the main soldiers in Witchfinder General. So swell it might explode.
User Reviewjake EI know this is no critical favorite. But it hit all the right chords for me in that fleeting flash of just right. And the swingy Sixties backdrop feels like a vacation. From everything.
User ReviewTash OI like the banter. It's not hard to see why Golodie became such a star back in the 70's.
User ReviewSunshine sThe best that can be said for There's a Girl in My Soup is that it is not quite as bad as its reputation. A belly flop in the careers of Peter Sellers and Goldie Hawn (she was fresh off her Oscar® for Cactus Flower), this Boulting ...
User ReviewDyl TClassic Peter Sellers movie, Goldie Hawn reminded me of a duck for some reason
User ReviewCarly LThis movie was awesome! Goldie Hawn & Peter Sellers were awesome together, although I'm going to pretend the ending didn't end the way it did. Although made in 1970, this movie is so 'swinging 60's', the music, the clothes, the cars etc. Peter Sellers plays a 40 something serial womanizer and Goldie Hawn in typical ditzy blond mode, if you love movies made during this era, you'll love this. Best quote? "I hope your head splits open and your brains come spilling out and you slip over them and die!"-spoken by Goldie Hawn's character to her hippie, two timing ex boyfriend. 4 out of 5 stars.
User ReviewJon APeter Sellers and Goldie Hawn work pretty well together on screen, but the movie is just great entertainment. Alright it was never going to win any awards, but I love it. Robert Danvers is Peter Sellers and his charming persona wins the females over everytime. "My God But Your Lovely"!
User ReviewKatie CI enjoyed this movie right up through to the end, which kind of threw me for a loop.
User ReviewVictoria WNot Peter Sellers or Goldie Hawns best ever but not bad, worth a viewing for their fans. Peter Sellers' character just kept reminding me of Austin Powers!
