User Review - 10/10 by gary twell umn just seen this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is a good movie 2 watch..its got a good cast of actors/actressess throughout this movie...i think that sid james, barbara windsor, kenneth williams play good roles/parts throughout this movie...i think that the director of this comedy movie had done a good job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie...i think that this is a good movie 2 watch with a good cast throughout this movie n its really enjoyable 2 watch

Dick is the last time we see a lot of the regulars and has my favourite line in any Carry on; Kenny: I'm looking for big dick. Babs; Search me I've lived here for ten years and I ain't found any. It's corny but its good.
User Review - 8/10 by Stuart KFor the 26th Carry On film, it was another take on a historical figure for the team, and one of last good ones. It was also the end of an era for the series. It was the last one written by the great Talbot Rothwell, as well as being the last one to feature Sid James, Barbara Windsor and Hattie Jacques. It was all quickly downhill from here, but it's still good entertainment. Set in the 1730's, it has highwaymen up and down the country robbing rich travellers of their loot, the most notorious of them all is Dick Turpin (James), known as Big Dick, because of his big gun, and because he has a birthmark on his diddler. :P Turpin hides under the alias of the Reverend Flasher in the village of Lower Dencher. Meanwhile, the Bow Street Runners are established to combat highwaymen, led by Sir Roger Daley (Bernard Bresslaw), he sends two of his best men, Desmond Fancey (Kenneth Williams) and Jock Strapp (Jack Douglas) to put a stop to Turpin's thieving, but they get more than they bargained for!! It's another funny entry, a sort of last hurrah, (although Behind is funny), this one makes its living from Big Dick jokes, but for the regulars for which this would be the last one for, what a note to go out on!! :D
