Her boss at a small shop tells her of a singing competition hosted by HUISGENOOT Magazine and convinces her to enter. Rebecca surprises everyone and finds an agent; unfortunately, he's a nasty man and gives her a hard time, and she must become someone she isn't to fit the ideal image of a singer. She is in a relationship with sheep farmer Dirk, a widower. Faced with choosing between Dirk and her singing career, can she stay true to herself and also achieve her dreams?
