There are others, hiding in the past, secretly living among us, plotting to alter the future. Without her body, Ava is a virtual ghost, silent and invisible to the world. And, so far as she knows, she's the only one who can stop them and put the timeline back on course.

User ReviewBrett MAwesome movie, well thought out concept. One of the best time travel movies of recent times. Can't wait for the sequel!
User ReviewDavid Jlow budget film with an interesting story and a lot of heart
User ReviewDavid ZThis is probably the best low-budget sci fi movie I've ever seen. I was entertained by the solid story and by the characters. Decent costumes, sets and acting. I assume that most of the actors and other people involved in this project are either at an early point in their filmmaking careers or it's a part-time passion for them. This was not bad at all. In fact, this movie is better than some big budget movies with fancy special effects. If you like science fiction movies, I recommend this one!
User ReviewRich GVideo ok, Props are ok Story is unique and interesting. Acting is abysmal. dialog is terrible audio sucks Even the worst written movies can be saved by good actors and even the best scripts can be ruined by bad acting. This is one of the latter
User ReviewJanette JSuch terrible, terrible acting from every woman in this. Blokes only slightly better.
User ReviewAl RStasis is at best a B movie, in the style of old 1970s made for TV science fiction movies. Two agents from a group of rebels against The Cabal, are transported from a post apocalyptic 2067 to the year 2017, in a bid to prevent a global thermonuclear war that takes place soon thereafter.. Most of the movie consists of agents from the rebel faction, being hunted by a 'hunter' agent from the Cabal, in the year 2017. The Cabal wants to make sure that the nuclear war takes place, as it ensures their own position of power in the year 2067. The rebels want to prevent it, because billions of people will die in the war. The movie progresses very slowly, and in the end never draws to a conclusion. The end of the movie is like a TV drama style cliffhanger, with the viewer never learning if the nuclear war was prevented. It has a 'To Be Continued' feel to it. If you like movies that feel like they are written for a 12 year old audience, you may enjoy Stasis; otherwise, your time is better spent elsewhere. I gave it two stars because there was a small amount of watchable action, and the movie did have an interesting premise. Perhaps in the future, someone else will venture to do a remake of this movie, or at least its concept; but until then, meh!
User ReviewJean BSci-fi whose concept had obvious gaping plot holes within the first 30 minutes, and dialog which is so poorly written that I wondered if it was perhaps an elementary school film project that somehow wound up getting funding from an overly enthusiastic rich grandparent. Not even humorously amateurish, just lazy and terrible. Literally ended up here after googling to find out how this managed to get even a pilot greenlit.
