User ReviewMichael Tramraiding hooligans;jude law b4 he was famous
User ReviewAlexander BThink a more melancholy Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. See it for the soundtrack alone.
User ReviewKeri HIconic for the altertative demographic. I could be wrong...
User ReviewJames RBefore he went to Hollywood and started directing crap, Paul WS Anderson proved he actually had some talent with this tale of disenchanted youth. There's still very much an ironic "video game" element here, and time hasn't been great to it...and yet you wonder what might have happened if Anderson hadn't been corrupted by the big Hollywood dollar signs.
User ReviewOvi GThe only decent and good movie that Paul W.S. Anderson has ever made aside from Death Race, this just works really well and has a great backdrop and sense of style. Jude Law was the ultimate rebel with a love for good music, which is apparently hard to come by. It's an interesting plot that faintly reminded me of A Clockwork Orange, but didn't steal from it which was respectable. It's a very interesting take on the dystopian future that is very subtle and perfectly odd.
User ReviewRobert MAmazing film that with great story and characters. It does drag in areas.
User ReviewJennifer CGreat soundtrack - esp Jam J v Sabres of Paradise track and the really full on EMF song. Loved it back when it was on at the cinema and, although it is undeniably dated now it is somehow very cool in its unashamedly daggy depiction of teenage life. Great fun!
User ReviewPaul DI'm pretty sure this came out in 1994... I love the face Jude Law makes at the end when he's speeding away. I think this movie should be re-released on the big screen.. well I at least want to watch it again on a larger TV.
User ReviewEddy Mgreat story, and good characters who really portray what it would be like to be part of this town. I love how it looks so indie but yet pulls off a huge blockbuster look
