Movie Reviews

San Francisco Chronicle - 10/10 by Peter HartlaubThis is a science fiction film, but like all excellent movies in the genre, the focus never strays from the human heart.
rec.arts.movies.reviews - 8/10 by Mark R. LeeperThese are simple stories, most with a strong insightful element. All but one really says more about humanity than about robots.
Zap2it.com - 8/10 by Michael SzymanskiThey're not like the "Twilight Zone" which is an easy comparison; they're more deep, artistic and subtle.
eFilmCritic.com - 8/10 by David CorneliusPak sets himself up as a filmmaker to watch, a creator of intelligent, thoughtful stories that refuse to be contained by traditional definition.
Slant Magazine - 8/10 by Joshua VasquezConcerned with detailing the various interactions of an unsettling, fragile humanity with its own technology.
TheMovieChicks.com - 8/10 by Cherryl Dawson and Leigh Ann PaloneEach story has a unique style and something profound and/or wonderful to say. The players might be artificial, but the human drama is real.
Cinema em Cena - 8/10 by Pablo VillaçaUtilizando a tecnologia (no caso, robôs) para estudar a psique e o comportamento humanos, Pak realiza uma antologia irregular, mas muito interessante.
Christian Science Monitor - 8/10 by David SterrittFour stories with automatons as important characters...The last is the most touching, but all are skillfully made.
Chicago Reader - 7/10 by Ted ShenAccomplished 2002 quartet of vignettes about artificial human life.
Film Threat - 7/10 by Doug BrunellI was hoping to be blown away, but was left feeling much like the iPerson in the "Machine Love" segment -- kind of cold.
