User ReviewPlinius DStupendo film di Wim Wenders. Visionario,Onirico, metafisico e filosofico.
User ReviewPavandeep SII do find this to be a very interesting film from Wenders, probably his most interesting film of those that I've seen thus far. What I liked about this is basically how much the main character treats images, it's so hard to comprehend but it feels like a genuine question of film as a whole, what does images do for us and what is it. The whole film involving the art restorer and the photographer is one of the biggest clues as to Wenders theme here, understanding and making, the role of spectator and creator and the restorer and his assumptions on the creator's meaning. That's what Wenders film really means, a long dialogue.
User ReviewDavid RReminiscent of Blow Up and Seventh Seal, I loved Wender's images and merging of art and life.

User ReviewMichele F1. It started off resembling a photographer version of the director's early movie "Notebook on Cities & Clothes". The surreal cinematography is genuinely delicate and poetic, reminds us of his melancholic past work "Wings of Desire". 2. As the story develops, Wim escalates his artistic presentation of spirituality & metaphysical themes to the next level - abandoning his usual Black & White sequences, he's evolved to using surrealistic settings to construct a dreamy atmosphere. Yet when everybody was expecting a full blown comeback of our beloved director, the story started to go a little downhill... Wim has his usual philosophical subtlety replaced by some very explicit (and predictable) dialogs between the lead actor & actress, the Platonic relationship & ultimate runaway of the 2 was not awakening but in fact quite a spoiler... Though the dramatic presentation in the later part has been refreshing, I'd rather see the lead actor not making the attempts. All in all, Palermo Shooting is still a cool movie from Wim Wenders since long (albeit we wish it had ended earlier...), definitely looking forward to his upcoming releases!! *The dialog with Death on photography is brutally funny, I wonder if Wim Wenders' saying "Bugger Off!" to people who persuade him that it is a digital age already XD
User ReviewKenneth YThis is prob the most pretentious film that I have ever seen but it's gorgeously shot and has some of the most desirable medium format cameras in a starring role.
User ReviewMohannad Mwhy doesn't anyone see the greatness of that movie,,actualy it isn't lame as it might sound!
User ReviewHarry BToo much element that don,t seems to have a connection of a signification. The best elements are at the end, but still the music is nice and it remains beautiful.
User ReviewSerdar CWim Wenders' last movie follows a successful photographer on his journey to find some answers out of his confusion about life and death. The movie is personal but not so special, it would be boring if it wasn't for the fantastic soundtrack.
User ReviewPansy GIt's better than I think... I don't like the numerous dreamlike sequences, but there are many beautiful shots and great songs by Rosa Balistreri (a Sicilian folk's artist) or Lou Reed; I don't like the performance of Giovanna Mezzogiorno... but verall I recognized the city of Palermo...is a unique city in the world... not so bad!
