A young navy lieutenant is brought in as techninical adviser on a song-dance-and-swim film being made by screen star Rosalind Reynolds. Having once done a number with her - and been kissed at the end - at a Forces show, the young lad somehow believes she should be his girl. Navy technical advisor Peter Lawford is in love with her, but she's engaged to her on set co-star, Ricardo Montalban. It's all fluff, but it enjoyable enough. Montalban is great, as always and it's fun to see him do some musical numbers. There's also Jimmy Durante, Xavier Cugat and one of my favorite female dancers, Cyd Charisse. |

| User ReviewAlan WHas anyone ever heard of this movie? Deep down, I have to admit, I enjoyed it but overall, tacky! Watching this movie, I feel like I've won a getaway cruise to meet stars I have never heard of...except Cyd Charisse. Only her scenes were bearable. |
