indieWireLiz Shannon MillerThere are some fresh touches, most especially when the boundaries of reality are completely tossed aside.
The AtlanticSophie GilbertA sparkling and star-studded oddity that's part-PBS telethon and part-depraved sex comedy, like the love child of Lawrence Welk and Lena Dunham.
Film School RejectsJacob OllerThe skits themselves are mostly funny, some just feel out of place in this sex-slathered bricolage of comic approaches.
User ReviewCrow Sreally hilarious and stupid but in the best possible way.
User ReviewAllan CWonderfully absurdist holiday special that would fit well with the most bizarre of Adult Swim shows. Santa enlists the help of Bolton to make the sexiest Valentine's Day ever to make more babies because the elves have made too many toys this year. Bolton then holds a PBS-like telethon/variety show special that gets progressively bizarre with nasty chefs, dancing Jack Sparrows, assassination attempts, and more celebrity cameos than you can shake a stick at. Compared to Netflix other holiday special "A Very Murray Christmas" this one is far more Tim & Eric than Sofia Coppola, so if you're a fan of "Too Many Cooks" or "Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule," you'll probably dig this very offbeat holiday special.
User ReviewBrad WIt was a pretty clever and funny show to have on VDay. Can see it had Samberg's humour all over it.
