| User ReviewSenor CMean Mother..great blaxploitation title/boring ass movie. Actually this films drops the ball twice. It starts off that it might be a pretty good genre piece w/ some street creds & then abandons that just a quickly as it embraces it. It then switched gears to Vietnam & dumps that idea just as fast where our two leads go AWOL to Europe. There it settles into its plot that it sticks w/ as they try to get enough money to go to Canada working for a criminal element & bores the shit out of w/ no hustle or flow. In turn this ends up not feeling like a blaxploitation flix @ all & to even give it the monocure Mean Mother is a disservice (other then its theme song.) This film isn't jive..it's just a jive turkey |
