Private detective Inés infiltrates the employees at a multinational corporation. Thanks to the collaboration of Manuel, she gets to the heart of company intrigues. But her investigation brings her face to face with a difficult emotional and ethical decision. Eva, just back from maternity leave, is juggling work and family obligations when she discovers that her partner Iñaki is hiding something fundamental to their future as a couple. Carmen, the most experienced of the three, observes and tapes Sergio's marital collapse but can't see her own marriage is dead. While working at the detective agency run by Valbuena, these three surveillance specialists often invade others' privacy but are clueless about confronting their own secrets. All three will have to cross the thin line dividing public and private matters, bringing their own issues to light in order to solve more than just their professional cases.
Leave your thoughts about Mataharis.
User ReviewRuth ADeftly written ensemble piece about three female detectives as they find it increasingly difficult to separate the demands of home and work. Likeable, believable superb performances.
User ReviewFernando GBollain suceeds in teling the story of three women at different ages working as private detectives. The structure of three characters is enough to portray a story about secrets that slowly become crucial in the understanding of each character. This story does not entertain in depicting characters in full detail, but in giving the viewer enough material to reveal these women's inner conflicts.
User ReviewKong MIn a serene chaos and an immaculate irony, Mataharis delivers the account of three female professionals each confronted by dilemma. A genuine drama that mimics reality, Mataharis is an advocacy recognizing the vulnerability and celebrating the strengths of women. Solid.
User ReviewAndres GReally good movie and good casting. IcÃar BollaÃn is one of the few to save from Spanish movies.
User ReviewKler BPrenant, vrai, intime... Non, ca n'arrive pas qu'aux autres et oui, il y a toujours une solution et un choix a faire.

User ReviewStewart FGood Spanish film about 3 female detectives, (something you don't see much in the movies), each with their own cases as well as their own struggles with life and relatioships. Very good absorbing performances from all the three leads.
User ReviewFrancesc SGran peli. Tres histories de tres dones que es creuen. Senzilla, emotiva i molt ben feta. Recomanable!!
User ReviewGunnar WComplex, like all movies from Iciar Bollaín. The more I think of it, the more I love it.
