4:3Anders FurzeA light, somewhat diverting romp through the Balkan states, as experienced by a group of bumbling-if-ultimately-kind-hearted Belgians on the loose.

User ReviewJOANA LMy husband and I both loved this movie-- a mockumentary. It is an improbable roadtrip by a monarch and his staff, who are accompanied by a filmmaker. During the road trip, the King reflects upon duty, personal freedom, happiness, the loving as well as the dark side of life. There are scenes of beauty and transcendence-- characters occasionally look like a part of a still life or tableau. This movie manages to be funny-- sometimes laugh out loud funny and other times just droll-- as well as thoughtful. You are left contemplating what it means to be alive and free.
User ReviewJon TThis is a delightful, small scale comedy for whom the word "quirky" could have been invented. The pathos gives it a depth which enables it to transcend what is essentially a caper movie.
