The story line is fairly unique, there are some good "make you jump" moments, and lots of anticipation through out the film. There are a few weak spots, but this could be from editing. All in all I enjoyed the film, and can't wait to watch it again.

However, the visual style of the movie is very impressive, as is the make-up and special effects. This movie looks way higher than it's budget, and has enough action to keep you satisfied.

User Review - 6/10 by George MA group of researchers travel to a deserted Japanese bunker along with their armed guards in the hopes of uncovering Yamashita legendary gold. What they find, instead, is a twisted science experiment gone horribly wrong, which unleashes undead assassins against the unsuspecting trespassers. If all of this sounds familiar, that's because it is. Writer/Director Steven Sheil lifts the same basic plot and premise from OUTPOST and ships it overseas to post-WWII Japan in a far less appealing film entitled DEAD MINE, from 2012. DEAD MINE frequently quotes THE DESCENT and others, as well, although it does achieve some success in recreating many of the same scare tactics. Thankfully, the film moves along at a brisk pace, with plenty of action to distract from the stolen material. One cannot deny the impressive production designs, either. The mediocre cast does little to gain our sympathies or support, however, so the onset of bloody carnage is a welcomed relief. While it is leagues above other WWII-themed films featuring undead soldiers (we're looking at you, ZOMBIE LAKE), DEAD MINE puts far too much emphasis on action over suspense. -Carl Manes I Like Horror Movies
User Review - 6/10 by Gaspar ODead Mine is not great. Dead Mine is also not terrible. I'm not a huge fan of the poorly lit glimpse of something tactic, and the ridiculously fast cuts so they can skimp on real cinematography and effects, but there was an uneasy, creepy vibe to this film that I enjoyed. For what I'm guessing was a lowish budget film, I thought it was decent. The sound of the Japanese soldierfreaks marching to slaughter people indiscriminately still gives me the chills. I also dislike endings that make me decide what happened, very lazy writing in my opinion, but all things considered, for its genre and compared to other films at this level, I'm pleased with my hour and a half.

Néammoin le jeu est des acteurs est tout de même intéressant et la production assé réussis pour ne pas en faire un trops mauvais film.
