Movie Reviews

New York Times - 9/10 by Jeannette CatsoulisEyes popping and mouths agape, Martin Lawrence and Raven-Symoné mug their way through College Road Trip as if it were a silent movie -- which, come to think of it, would have been a lot less irritating.
Compuserve - 8/10 by Harvey S. KartenWe knew that high-school senior year would be fun--but this much fun?
EricDSnider.com - 8/10 by Eric D. SniderI hated every minute of this train wreck.
AV Club - 7/10 by Nathan RabinThe almost perversely colorblind College Road Trip represents a strange milestone in black film.
Can Magazine - 7/10 by Fred TopelNational Lampoon's Vacation Light. They have some funny disasters on the road, nothing like dead relatives or incest, but it's light and fun.
Entertainment Weekly - 7/10 by Adam MarkovitzAt its best when it drops any pretense of plot for sheer goof (as when a Japanese sightseer belts ''Sister Christian'' on a karaoke tour bus), and at its worst when Lawrence manages to out-ham even his porky four-legged costar.
E! Online - 6/10 by Matt StevensThe movie's tagline reads, 'They can't get there fast enough.' You'll be thinking the same thing.
The Globe and Mail (Toronto) - 6/10 by Jason AndersonYou know a movie has taken a very strange turn when you find yourself eagerly awaiting the next appearance by Donny Osmond.
Film Journal International - 6/10 by Ethan Alter[Director Roger Kumble] apparently instructed the actors to SHOUT rather than speak their dialogue, as if they're performing summer stock in a cavernous auditorium.
Newsday - 6/10 by Gene SeymourAs over-the-top as Raven-Symoné and Lawrence are, the most live-action cartoon characters in College Road Trip are the father-daughter tandem of Doug (Donny Osmond) and Wendy (Molly Ephraim), whose nitro-powered perkiness pass the point of grating and move into a perversely antic state of grace.
