| User Reviewgary twow umn just seen this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is a good movie 2 watch...its got a good cast of actors/actressess throughout this movie...i think that sid james, kenneth williams, charles hawtrey, hattie jacques play good parts/roles throughout this movie...i think that the director of this comedy/romance/classics movie had done a good job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie its a good 1970's movie 2 watch n its enjoyable 2 watch |

| User ReviewSam WSmutty innocent cheap fun. Silly and dated yet still funny and sexy with the usual cast performing their usual roles. The running gags get a bit repetitive & the latter half loses the jokes for plot development, but it has a great ending & great acting throughout. |

| User ReviewPaul DA neglected work, this plotless sex farce about the comings and goings to and from a marriage agency sees the id erupting all over place; the piece is a late 60s Freudian hallucination, with everyone wanting it, hardly anyone getting it, and when marriage occurs, violence quickly follows. I wonder if the surrealist genius of Talbot Rothwell will ever be properly recognised? Anyway, who can knock any film which contains a scene in which Charles Hawtrey is arrested for cottaging! |

| User ReviewStuart KThe 20th Carry On film in 12 years, quite an achievement, and with this one, they went all romantic. This one had a multi-layered story, built around chance encounters and coincidences, it becomes hard to follow at times, but it does have it's laughs. Set in Much-Snogging-On-The-Green, this Carry On follows the clients of a computer dating agency run by Sid Bliss (Sid James) and his supposed 'wife' Sophie (Hattie Jacques). Sid has put off getting married to Sophie because he fancies seamstress Esme Crowfoot (Joan Sims), who doesn't take kindly to his advances. Meanwhile, Bertrum Muffet (Richard O'Callaghan) ends up with model Sally Martin (Jacki Piper) by mistake. She shares a flat with Jenny Grubb (Imogen Hassall) who ends up with Bliss client Terry Philpotts (Terry Scott). Meanwhile, Sophie finds love with marriage guidance counsellor Percival Snooper (Kenneth Williams), who is a batchelor. :P It's a confusing narrative, and there's so much going on all at once, that it may require more than one viewing to make sense of what on earths going on. It does rely alot on farce, but when it's funny, it's very, very funny. You know the drill with this lot!! :P |

| User ReviewMartin BGood looking classic Carry on drama in beautiful 1970 coloring A story that evolves around a matrimonial agency and lonley people and their hunger for marriage, company or just some sweet good times. Of course nothing goes as planned. Star performaces all around. Kenneth Williams in the role of a bachelor working as the marriage counselor is a story in itself, and Bernard Bresslow plays out very diffrently than in other epidodes. Here he is the constantly raving angry wrestler instead of that big nice stupid guy that we are used to see him. The end involves a lot of cake in the face |
