Beyond the unimaginative plot, the film has many shortcomings. The performances while energetic are stilted. The sound re-recording is sub-par. About the only redeeming aspect of the movie is the soundtrack and it's negative virtues such as no sex, violence, or nudity (if that even appeals to you). At best it's a mildly amusing comedy suited for home viewing. With so many choices available to consumers right now, it's pretty easy to find something more worthy of your time, irrespective of your taste. |
