Movie Reviews

User Review - 10/10 by Camerino FAnd yes indeed, the sequel does blow the first one way
User Review - 8/10 by Jordan DI have not seen "All You Need Is Cash" yet. However, I really did enjoy this clever send-up of the Beatles, particularly the "interviews" of Steve Martin, Garry Shandling, Tom Hanks, and Billy Connelly
User Review - 6/10 by Wolf BEric Idle and his musical friends return in this sequel to one of the funniest mockumentaries of all time, and in the process lose all the magic that made the first film so fresh and funny. None of the original actors (apart from Idle) return, with the band themselves appearing only in recycled footage and outtakes from the first film. Most of the new material here consists of interviews with celebrities (including David Bowie, Carrie Fisher, Jewel, Bonnie Raitt, Robin Williams, Tom Hanks, and Steve Martin) professing their love of the fictitious group. (An inspired exception is Billy Connolly, who only has harsh things to say about the band.) There are some mild chuckles sprinkled throughout, and a few new Rutle songs on the soundtrack, but overall this pale imitation just tries much too hard, with forced humor that doesn't match the original. Not terrible, but disappointing in its over-eagerness.
User Review - 6/10 by Tom DGood Follow-up to "All you need is cash"
User Review - 6/10 by Ashley YI actually like this one better than 1 -- laughed more and louder, anyway. I saw this one before the 1st, though, so I wasn't left feeling that I'd watched the commentary track, rather than a follow-up film.
User Review - 6/10 by Ande TNot as funny as the original, some funny parts and good songs though.
User Review - 6/10 by Nick AMostly a rehash of clips from the first movie. However, the new interviews with Conan O'Brein, Robin Williams, and Steve Martin are worth seeing.
User Review - 6/10 by Tom GThis is called milking a great idea for a bit of extra cash. Silly Eric.
User Review - 6/10 by Greg WThe original was a classic, this one not so much.
User Review - 4/10 by Jonathan Ki think 2 stars is still too much. it's just a recap of 1 with maybe 10 new minutes of Eric Idle interviews.
