Now, the stage seems set for the ultimate experiment; however, once more, this is easier said than done. Can the good doctors escape from this concrete pit of death?

| User ReviewSuper KThis movie was hilarious. I had so much fun watching. Never got boring for a moment and it ended way too soon. Combs is an awesome Herbert West. His insanity and amoral attitude with sarcasm thrown in makes the character forever memorable. I wish they made more like this, so much fun. |
| User ReviewMax Mcreepy horror comedy this one is probably a great horror film creepy kind of reminded me of frankenstein in a way the ending was very good this is a great horror film about a doctor named herbert west I know some people might recongize the name herbert from tv's family guy the creepy gay old man who likes little boys well sorry folks this is a doctor that brings people back from the dead and I know it sounds like the story of frankenstein well no its not well back to the story doctor herbert west played wonderfully by jeffrey combs one of his weird experiments came alive and killed a girl named emily and so he gets arrested then 13 years later the brother of the victim meets again doctor west and wants to do experiments funny and creepy at the same time I think that this is a great horror comedy very creepy and funny great plot great script great acting and great direction by director brian yuzna now I think that now its hard to find on dvd but I bought a copy of this film on dvd at a local video store going out of business creepy horror film highly recommended. |

| User ReviewKatie KAnother demented classic from exploitation hero Brian Yuzna. This sequel to re-animator, is vastly superior to Gordon's original. We find Dr West in prison, he's been developpng & perfecting new ways of bringing back the dead to life. Assisted by a young doctor (who witnessed his sister getting killed by a corpse, reanimated by no other than West) they turn the orderly prison into a funfair of gut munching, demented fun (while ironically enough trying to avoid attetion).... The film features a balls to the wall, wild as hell jail break, delirious prosthetic fx by the fx guru Screaming Mad George, the super sexy pin up slut Elsa Pataky, who goes totally fly wheel loose towards the end (INCREDIBLE performance by her BTW), and even a severed zombie penis fighting with a rat, and as you can expect from Yuzna plenty of gratuitous, heart warming unapologetic sleaze..... Lovely stuff! |
