They seek shelter in a garish, loud aprés-ski tavern that is hosting an all-night party for the last night of the season. Things go from bad to worse when a scientific experiment conducted by a local entrepreneur unleashes an epidemic of zombies and mutant wildlife, but this is mostly lost on the local drunkards as they themselves are not always so easy to distinguish from zombies. Steve, Branka and Josh have to find a way to survive this hellish night. Finally, their epic battle for survival leads to them having to use their snowboarding skills to defeat the raging aprés-ski zombies once and for all.

SciFiNowSteve WrightIt falls firmly into the 'disposable fun' category, but ultimately it isn't much more than that.
Total FilmPaul M. BradshawFor all its dumb fun, this genre has reached the bottom of the mountain.
VODzilla.coAnton Bitelthe film itself knows that engagement with any kind of serious issue can be an uphill struggle, and so instead takes the path of least resistance, whooping and guffawing all the way down to genre's bottom.
The Hollywood NewsKat HughesKitsch, wacky and gory, Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies is a fun-filled, blood-soaked ski lift ride crammed full of zombies.

Radio TimesJames LuxfordThis low-budget spoof will appeal to devotees of the zombie genre, but ultimately it's too amateurish to stand out from the staggering crowd.
GuardianAlan EvansThe acting is wooden and the special effects aren’t all that special, but it’s a spirited effort and doesn’t drag during its 78 minutes. You’ll never approach après-ski in the same way again.

User ReviewJames CI'm a regular film-goer but my go-to is usually a romantic comedy so Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies was a dramatic change of pace. All in all, it was a refreshing spin on the traditional zombie movie that I thoroughly enjoyed. The storyline begins when a science experiment intended to create snow backfires and sparks the beginning of a zombie apocalypse. Meanwhile, a couple of teenagers are hitting the slopes in the Austrian Alps and an innocent prank eventually leads to them becoming deserted in a ski resort and engaging in a bloody brawl against the undead to try to stay alive. I really enjoyed the chemistry between the two major heroes, Laurie Calvert and Gabriela Marcinkova, which depicted a foolish boy trying to win back his beloved all the while slaying and decapitating zombies with his killer snowboarding skills. The characters really made the movie all the more enjoyable with their countless remarks full of wit and puns and had me laughing from beginning to end. I can now call myself a zom com fan.
User ReviewJulian HThe best thing about "Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies" is its blend of classic wit and style with new-age horror visual elements and storytelling, fitting perfectly alongside movies like 1984's "Nightmare on Elm Street" and 2011's "Cabin in the Woods." I like my horror movies with an edge and rustic feel to them and "Lederhosen Zombies" isn't afraid to get dirty and bloody. There are many elements that remind me of my favorite horror movies (both aesthetically and story-wise) but "Lederhosen Zombies'" standout quality is its distinct tone and crude, self-aware humor. I highly recommend it on your next late night horror binge!
