| User ReviewPrivate UI was lucky enough to find this gem at a local used book and movie store. It was the blue underground, which when it comes to films like this is the best way to go. The film is a satire as well as a zombie film as well as a slasher film. The gore is good but not overdone, which isn't always a good thing. The acting from Isaac Hayes was awesome, Robert Forster's role was great. I love Lustig and this goes on my top three of his films under Maniac Cop but above Vigilante. Maniac, unfortunately, I have yet to see but I'm not sure I wanna bother now. If you like zombie films, political satire and slasher films then go out and find this. It's fuckin' brilliant! |
