| User ReviewMike EThere are bad movies, great movies, epic movies, and then there are epically great bad movies! This falls into the final category. In classic Troma style, Uncle Lloyd Kauffman, Debbie Rochon, Conrad Brooks add their own touches to this low/no-budget backyard masterpiece. The CGI, the nudity, the writing, the acting, all come together to make a great evening in with some alcohol and friends (with similar taste). |
| User ReviewJason DZeppo: Sinners from Beyond the Moon! attempts to capture that classic ultra-low budget 50's D-movie era of old-timey Ed Wood films, and somehow manages to even more excruciatingly bad to watch! The story concerns the Earth becoming under siege when attacked by the villainous Molly (Debbie Rochon, whose always a delight to watch) of the planet Zeppo. She sends out her squad of top-heavy female generals, who start rising the dead to do their bidding. A handful of "elaborate" characters work together to stop this menace, specifically scientist Stacey T. Gillespie and United States President Lloyd Kaufman (playing himself). There are lots of sexual/fart/poop jokes strung about this film, with lots of titties as well (though it's mostly recycled footage of the same women). Thanks to the SUPER-low budget (I really cannot stress that enough with this film), a lot of the sights and gags are a bit painful to watch, but if you support truly low-budget, independent cinema, or even the old Ed Wood films of yore, then you might get a small kick out of watching this film. I'd especially recommend it to Rochon and Kaufman fans, as the two actually have decent sized roles in this and are always fun to watch. |
