| User ReviewPhilip SYou're in Love, Charlie Brown is one of those stories to which every aduience young and old alike can relate. Who hasn't had a childhood crush? Charlie Brown definitely has one. He's had a crush on a certain little red-haired girl for a long time. But he never could find the nerve--or opportunity--to talk to her. When he finally writes down his feelings for the little girl, some of the girls dance aroun d him, teasing him. Even Linus makes a comment toward him at one point. For all the teasing and everything else, You're in Love, Charlie Brown is one of the rare times in which Charlie Brown actually comes up on top. The ending won't be given away ehre. But it will leave viewers with that warm, fuzzy feeling. You're in Love, Charlie Brown isn't one of the better known of the Peanuts holiday specials. That would explain why it was originally included on the single disc set that focused mainly on Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown. It may little more than the little brother to aforementioned special. But thanks to its relateability, You're in Love, Charlie Brown is still one of the many Peanuts sepcials that audiences young and old enjoy now, and will enjoy for many more generations to come. |
