User Review - 10/10 by Shawn Wwow umn just seen this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is a good movie 2 watch...its got a good cast of actors/actressess throughout this movie...i think that valeria golino, sharon stone, john pankow, andrew mccarthy play good roles/parts throughout this movie...i think that the director of this action/adventure/drama movie had done a good job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie...its an enjoyable movie 2 watch n its really well filmed because its filmed in rome...its a good movie 2 watch n its enjoyable

User Review - 6/10 by Michael WAmerican reporter in Italy writes a supposedly ficticious novel which gets taken a bit too seriously, getting several people killed with the help of an overzealous photographer. A bit complicated with styles and fashions that don't really match 1978.

User Review - 4/10 by Stephen CNot bad Thriller from Director John Frankenheimer ,the biggest problem being continuity and a story which turns a vital subject just a little bit stale. The film is meant to be set in 1978 around the time when the Red Brigades kidnapped Aldo Moro and waged war against the state ,the problem is the film is packed full of cars from the late 80s and early 90s so you easily forget the period its meant to be set in. The three lead actors all come off a touch bland and only John Pankow gives a powerful performance as a friend with dubious connections. Frankenhiemer does manage some good touches but by the time the action gathers pace you dont really care whats going on. I tried to enjoy it but when a political thriller lacks thrills and mudlles its politics you come away feeling more confused than when you started.
