Unemployed gambling-addicted wheeler-dealer Andi pawned one of fiancee Monika's heirlooms, and cost buddies Walter and Fritz a long-awaited curling victory to pay off a bookie. Gifted vet Walter never told wife Maria and rich Salzburg 'fiancee' heiress Veronika Maurer about each-other. Widower pediatrician Fritz, who barely dares flirt with colleague Ellen, also got drawn in as they tried to set things straight, which clearly takes more drastic courage.
