Vasu, a common man from Tamil Nadu, joins the BSF with the hope of living a better life. He one day falls in love with Khanoum, whom he names Kajal, without actually knowing she's from Pakistan. Meanwhile, riots break out in Kashmir, forcing all Pakistanis including Kajal to go back to Pakistan. But: hurdles break in.
