Leave your thoughts about Untamed Youth.
Creative LoafingMatt BrunsonA risible effort that had achieved turkey status long before MST3K arrived on the scene.
User ReviewJeff BAn entertaining slice of exploitation, starring Mamie Van Doren and Lori Nelson as rock-and-rollers sentenced to hard labor after they are busted for skinny-dipping.
User ReviewAnthony WHits rock bottom. but its so bad its good
User ReviewMichael HRock n Roll exploitation at its tamest where the unruly youth are also at their tamest. The acting is not very good though John Russell isn't too bad and there is a cameo by Eddie Cochran who sings a song. the film poster is so misleading so don't expect a raucous film just some youth who have been a little naughty but are all clean cut and innocent
User ReviewWes SThin, broken plot with recycled characters and a odd bit of charm. Long musical pieces and some corny moments, it's a early MST3K classic.
User ReviewKestutis Ki will never forget this movie....for it's been a few weeks since i watched this abomination and i've still got the 'you ain't gonna make a cotton picker outta me' song in my skull. while it is fun to sing the song and add in my own words, it's still very annoying...much like the majority of this film was.
User ReviewByron BWatching some of the old MST3K episodes available for streaming on Hulu and Netflix (there is a different random selection on each platform). Whether it is Joel or Mike watching these awful movies with the bots I do not envy their torture. Their snarky comments add some entertainment value, but my ratings are based on the movie's quality itself and not the commentary broadcast from the satellite of love. A misunderstanding of juvenile delinquency. A lame and too clean-cut representation of rock-n-roll, although it is the early years of the music genre. Has an element of the movie Brubaker about prison corruption, but with teens forced into slave labor to serve their time. Two sisters are the main characters. One wants to be a singer and one falls for the son of a local farming boss. Unintentionally funny while poorly written and shot.
User ReviewSylvester KThe acting was disturbing but the musical numbers and dance were even worse. A wouldn't even call it a "campy classic", this teen exploitation would make Elvis cry.
User ReviewKinohi NA relic of the cinema of "rebellious" youth from the 1950s. Ridiculously bad, but points for having the audacity to stage ludicrous dance sequences in the middle of doing work on a cotton farm.
