Starring Yuki and Tetsuya Bessho Written By: Keiichi Hasegawa Directed By: Kazuya Konaka My Review This is based off a kids show, a Japanese children s show to be more exact. I have not watched any episodes show cause while they might be at my disposal on the internet I just don't have the time to watch God know's how many episodes so I just skip to the movies. The first movie I saw was Japanese with no subtitles so I got lost and bored. But I decide to also look for one's in English dub, and there were a few that were in that format so I saved them. I decided to go with Ultraman The next because well it looked the coolest. I started watching and as the movie went on it made more sense along the way. In the opening sequence of the picture we see a giant mutant monster who is escaping a base of some sort. We cut to Shun Uci who is flying an airplane with his army pals and he goes through a red power source of some sort, which is were we see Ultraman. The way the film introduces him being Ultraman is very cool he is being used to lure the monster back inside the base to be destroyed. But while the soilders may think it's dead there wrong. Uchi breaks the door open and falls but gets back up and is changing. He turns into Ultraman and begins fighting the monster. At first when the woman see's that he protected her and still has human spirit she has him help her destroy the monster. In the beginning of the picture I didn't like the dubbing, but as the film progressed it got better, along with my understanding of what was going on. The fight sequences were fun to watch but it is it me or do I think it would have been coller had the monster done more damage in the city before Ultraman showed up. Maybe that's a nitpick but other then that I give Ultraman next a four out of five. |
