User ReviewUsman GA good movie for one time watch. All songs are really good. I liked it.
User ReviewMahesh PVery simple movie, but extremely well made. Kunal Deshmukh did a great job with flashbacks flowing smoothly with the story. Story is well developed throughout, with parallels of the present and past. Acting is pretty good from both Emraan and Soha. Before this, i haven't really thought much of Saif's sister, but I am impressed with her performance in this movie. Probably deserves 3.5 stars more than 4, but the incredible soundtrack by Pritam bumped it up in my eyes. He keeps delivering hit after hit. Didn't expect him to be able to come up with something as good as Love Aaj Kal, but he came pretty close with this one. Overall, a great movie.
User ReviewFahad Acoming from the pairing of director actor from jannat...i expected alot...the movie has exceptional music...the romantic plot was well developed...but the 2nd half..along with the 26 July scenes were not at all convincing...the supporting cast was also not well developed...but for the music...and the chemistry of the principal cast..this one should be given a go!
User ReviewRahman Squite realistic movie! although the part where they're stuck in building and losing key to doors in water was very intense-i found it very familiar to 1 Titanic scene :P TOO much similar lol and could watch the very end again n again :D
User ReviewHaleema SUnderrated movie, loved the song tum mile, not bad of a story maybe needs a little word on the direction
User ReviewChetan PSoha is amazing... though my destination was a desert, movie gave me that feel of being wet in the water through out!
User ReviewRahima DIt is a confused film that can't decide whether to be a natural disaster thriller or a relationship drama. Unfortunately, in an effort to do both, it doesn't turn out to be either despite a good story and some great sets/cinematography. There is no need for foreign locales in a film revolving around July 26 (hardly in 1/4 of the film). Soha Ali Khan gave a fantastic performance as always, and the songs are terrific!
User ReviewAbsar SNice movie, loved songs, liked some bits n bytes in totality its an average movie.
User ReviewSimonti Mws way below expectations..this one..!! cud hav been so mush betta...given it 3 stars only cuz of the amazin music....
User ReviewAlimuzzaman AIt was a good entertainer. Emraan Hashmi was great, as usual. Soha Ali Khan was absolutely her usual irritating self in the first half of the movie, but as it progressed, her performance improved. The relationship aspect of the movie was very natural and realistic. The problems this couple had coming up in their relationship and the self-created distance between them.....it was all something that is relatable to anyone who understands human nature and who has gone through any sort of argument with a significant other. The Mumbai floods were advertised as being the story for the film - this is not true. It only provides the backdrop for the love story. So if you are interested in this film for the Monsoon aspect, lower your expectations, because the actual storyline is a love story. The songs were great and nicely placed....barring "Tum Mile," which is a great song, but was placed in such a way where you felt "Uh, isn't this all happening a little too fast?" "Tu Hi Haqeeqat" and "O Meri Jaan" were very nicely picturized. "Dil Ibaadat" came at a very important part in the film, so it made the greatest impact. The movie is definitely flawed - the greatest flaw coming in the form of the lead actress. But it's still a worthwhile watch. I enjoyed it.
