| User ReviewAndy CAfter about 91 years of vampire films, can you believe we still have some original films coming out? Who would've ever guessed, especially with a TV film. These things are hit and miss. This film is about what would happen if synthetic blood was given to the vampires who are coexisting on the planet along with the humans. However, the blood has been tainted, and instead of it serving its purpose, it ends up devolving the Vampire's into their previous flying creature form, which the only advantage is that they are more powerful...but at a loss of self control and are crazy and homicidal, going after both humans and vampires....this killing them both! |
| User ReviewGaynor CSome people might think I've been quite generous with my starring but I watched this film the other night on Syfy ( I think) expecting to turn it off after 10 minutes and have actually watched it 3 times now already. I really enjoyed it. Although not 100% original I think it was very well done with good acting and a simple enough storyline. My only real problem with it was a failed attempt at a love story between Celeste and Nikolai, if they're going to hint at the idea of it, they should just make it happen. I enjoy a romance in vampire films so it was quite frustrating for it to go nowhere yet have a character accuse Celeste of "falling" for the vampire. I would recommend watching it. :) |

| User ReviewFrances HNot great, but better than expected. This movie had the makings of a B-grade (at best) vampire movie: Syfy channel, no-name actors. Plot seemed reasonable though, so I gave it a go. Plot turned out to be reasonably basic, and just a platform for action scenes. Action scenes were okay though. Performances were so-so, but not terrible. Ultimately, not that good, but not terrible. Had its moments, moved along briskly, and was reasonably short. Still had the feel of a made-for-TV B-grade movie though. |
