User ReviewMisti WInsanely funny. The camera work is very good. You have to be very skilled to look this schmaltzy. The acting is hilarious in its nuanced absurdity. The dialogue is clever and the delivery is exceptionally low-keyed and amazingly understated. Understated but with the appropriate bite. Witty and hilariously deadpan performances.
User ReviewBrian SLarry Blamire, who brought us the great B-Science Fiction movie parody "The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra" has made this fantastic parody, which has more of a big studio B-picture, shot in color and CinemaScope style visuals, with dialogue that tries to hard to sound smart or complicated that it becomes completely moronic. The cast is great, and the movie's villain is moving, mind controlling foreheads! It's like "The Blob" in some ways. Good fun all around.
User ReviewVincent PHilarious. If you don't think this movie is great, I don't want to meet you or know you or even know you exist. You're dead to me!
User ReviewNatalee K"Smells like burning toothpaste." Crazy awesome.
User ReviewMichael Llost skeleton is one of my favorite movies of all time and while this isnt as good as skeleton, it is still very very funny. if you dont like silly nonsensical dialogue then this is your film. really, blamire's films are one joke movies but it is a great great joke. may it never stop
User ReviewRobert CNot quite as consistently hilarious as The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra, but still pretty damn funny.
User ReviewCountess NNot taking itself seriously at all helps this stupid concept along and along the way cracking dialogue which is totally tounge in cheek at times helps also. the concept( a alien race which are basically foreheads try taking over the woprld by taking control of people and being placed on forehead is ridiculas but as its not serious you tend to run with it, but it is bad, cheaply shot, terrible acting, i cant see this being remade anytime soon but thats something that could improve. overall a rather crap film that i went with for once so a weak 3 stars here.
User ReviewBill BAnother Larry Blamire throwback sci-fi opus that does what it says on the tin, filled with silly faux-science and corny twists, peopled with his troupe of familiar faces. You kind of know if this is your thing or not, don't you Worth a look for those in search of a laugh.
User ReviewTor MI love a silly film once in a while and this one has the perfect weird plot. Some aliens come to a small place somewhere in America. They are actually forheads. They attach to people's heads and they turn weird. They have strenght but finding their weaknesses is hard. People are fighting them as they are slowly taking over the population. Who will win? Plenty of stupidity, loads of great, dry one-liners and actions. It gave me many laughs and it's actually nailing the master of being so bad it's getting really entertaining. I loved most of it and it's definitely one of the strangest little gems I've seen in a while. It's quite impressive to make a film about nothing but forheads so watchable. 6 out of 10 bells.
User ReviewJosh AIf you enjoy campy movies about alien foreheads attempting to take over the Earth, you will probably like this movie. Otherwise, it's too friggin' stupid and weird to be very enjoyable
