| User Reviewarlyn cI am both amused and disturbed by this film's depiction of the American Southwest in comparison to the East, and I extend those feelings towards Desi Arnez and Ann Miller's song-and-dance number "All Dressed Up, Spic and Spanish," which is the most clever piece of racism I've heard in my life. Ultimately, this movie has too few girls, with lovely, lovely Lucy getting all the attention and poor Ann Miller having to play second fiddle to her and barely having any lines. It was lovely to see how Lucy and Desi first met, though. |
