Movie Reviews

Jam! Movies - 9/10 by Louis B. HobsonTimeline is not so much a bad movie as it is bland and routine.
Combustible Celluloid - 8/10 by Jeffrey M. Andersonit's very easy to get lost in this silly, fun adventure tale.
Seattle Post-Intelligencer - 8/10 by William ArnoldIt plays like a bad episode of the old '60s television series, The Time Tunnel, with lots of uninvolving, back-and-forth action and little to thrill us with the exciting incongruities of time travel.
Jam! Movies - 8/10 by Liz BraunFeatures serious over-acting, lousy effects, appalling dialogue, misplaced and ill-advised romantic interludes, a complete lack of tension, nothing to link the story set in the past with the section set in the present and very bad wigs.
Boston Phoenix - 8/10 by Tom MeekIt's a dull spectacle that makes a drive out to Carver for King Richard's Faire seem more appealing.
Horror.com - 8/10 by Staci Layne WilsonThe tagline says, "This November, you're history." And let me guess: by next month, Timeline will be history, too.
EDGE Boston - 7/10 by David FoucherRichard Donner brings us the latest Crighton film, sending Paul Walker and Gerard Butler back to Medieval times. The book was medoicre at best... this adaptation is insipid.
Hollywood Reporter - 7/10 by Kirk HoneycuttHarmless fun with a game cast in the grand tradition of '50s B movies that don't seem to realize how funny their dialogue is.
Flipside Movie Emporium - 7/10 by Sean O'ConnellA hollow history lesson and an adventure that's about as thrilling as the staged joust at the heart of those traveling Renaissance Festivals.
About.com - 7/10 by Rebecca MurrayTimeline is one of the most frustrating movies I've seen this year.
