eFilmCritic.comDavid CorneliusThis is a marvelous character study, a terrific exercise in cinematic storytelling, and one of the year's best films.
Ozus' World Movie ReviewsDennis SchwartzThese type of portmanteau films seldom work out as well as does this one.
Slant MagazineFernando F. CroceMore benign than Three...Extremes and less uneven than Eros, Tickets offers a triptych of slender yet genuine delights.
Eye for FilmAnton BitelOlmi's first piece is certainly the most substantial and subtle of the film's three episodes, but it is also strangely the least engaging, with a pace that recalls the endless delays of British Rail rather than the more efficient services on the continent
User ReviewTamara FThis movie was amazing! I have my library to thank for somehow having this as one of their DVD selections because it is such a great movie.
User ReviewMark LA touching, and well thought out project, that makes for a great film. A great concept allowing 3 directors knit their stories together. It certainly works well. Watch it!
User Reviewmaja mI found the first piece a bit too dreamy for my likes, but nevertheless, fascinating. The second piece by Iran's Abbas Kiarostami was funny and outrageous, and I truly felt sorry for her assistant. The last part of the journey was morally contemplative despite its disguise of light-heartedness. And by the end of the movie, I found myself wanting to take a train journey across Europe.
User ReviewAlegra SI don't exactly know where to begin explaining the wonder I felt while watching this film. All three stories are beautifully blended with one another, starting out rather melancholy and ending with loads of laughter. I highly recommend seeing this film! You get a taste of several languages throughout the course of the film. Marvelous. Simply marvelous.
User ReviewM PHighly reccomend it.I watched it because I love Loach's films but all 3 short stories are fantastic, they're well put together and thought-provoking. Very enganging and well acted, it leaves you wanting more.
