User ReviewMichael TExceptionally well-written and acted; one of the best of the British WWII dramas.
User ReviewJon ANothing compared to imaginative work of Powell/Pressburger, Reed or Lean, but it's quiet and sad and rather touching.
User ReviewNick SVery decent British war movie. Excellent characterisation dealing with the realities of the lives of the airmen on the ground. Decent performances and a solid script makes this one to check out.
User ReviewSiân POne of my favourite war films. Never schmaltzy, but dealing with the realities of wartime and relationships. Oh and John Mills won the war single-handedly didn't he?
