QuickflixSimon MiraudoSometimes an 'OK' Aussie film hurts just as much as a bad one.
Reel Film ReviewsDavid Nusair...a slow-moving period drama that grows more and more tedious as it unfolds...
User ReviewKathryn SLike the voice (V) and professional acting of Hugo, talented actor! the movie is completely set in the 1930s or so and they combine scenes in a rather peculier way with old authentic fragments, interresting though. Also there is an obsessive attention drawn towards the giant Rolls Royce which looks like a limousine-version of the Phantom I. Plot is good, a bit evident but shown in a great way,its about boxing but really about the liberation from Mac. every role gets some extra attention. special boxing movie, great for jazz-lovers!
User ReviewAaron Ca lil too violent at times for my liking... but a rather interesting Aussie art-house attempt at mystery and sports period drama. Good performance of the lead actors.
User ReviewLara Rrealmente não tava nem aí pra história, só queria ver o hugo weaving.
User ReviewGarrick JExcellent cinematography. Good acting as well. Slow plot line.
User ReviewDaniel SUndercooked Australian noir film that squanders its potential. With multiple plot threads left unresolved, the characters in this drama fall to pieces, as does the movie itself.
