User ReviewMatthew MProbably the most non-movie I have seen on mst3k. at least others attempt to have actual scenes rather than stock footage of flying. The MST3k episode is still really funny because of all the jokes they do and are able because either the dialogue is so bad or most of the time there is nothing but flying. There is no plot really and it fails on so many levels but it is just fun to watch because of it.
User ReviewD MJust a piece of Air Force propaganda with absolutely no plot made watchable by MST3K. I'd be embarrassed if I had to wear something called a poopie suit like these guys.
User ReviewA DThere's a whole lot of nothing in this movie. Unfollowable characters, a slim plot, and many long slow scenes of planes. It drags on to every last minute.
User ReviewMax PWith a name like Starfighters, it has to be good! Hahahahahahaha no. All the reviews for this film are spot-on! This movie was a whooole lot of nothing. They fly planes. Again and again and continuously. There's some really boring dating involved. A concerned father. A lot of refueling. I'm not sure exactly why this film was made. It seems like an excess of plane footage made into some sort of cohesive film. They must have had connections because I can't imagine someone utilizing a budget large enough for airplanes and jets on such a lackluster premise. I would never call it a "blazing adventure". I think whoever made the cover art for this film was being ironic. Or perhaps he never saw the film.

User ReviewMatthew WMST3K Version: One of the most boring experiences of my life, nearly an hour of the film is stock footage of jets flying around.
User ReviewKeith PI have seen this horrible motion picture on "Mystery Science Theater 3000" numerous times that I actually wouldn't mind watching the version by itself but there's not even a full-length version on YouTube. Jeez, did the U.S. government do a neat job disavowing this movie's existence? Simply put, it's a complete bore with only semblances of character, plot, and conflict. Incidentally I did vote for Robert Dornan...'s Democratic opponent for U.S. Representative (California) in my first election.
