| User ReviewNicholas Mthis is perfect. from landing to take off with all the turbulance in it, this movie really takes its audience to the higher level of flying. and somehow, i'm kinda more appreciated to the service rendered by the airflight and airport crews. |
| User ReviewBarree VThis flick is quite different from Shinobu Yaguchi's prior films Swing Girls and Waterboys. It doesn't have the laugh-out-loud hilarity but it does have the same sweet charm and, surprisingly enough, a great deal of suspense. I'm admittedly already a nervous flier and just watching this film was enough to make me postpone my trip to Australia. I marveled at how much goes into an average flight and how much could go wrong. You can tell that Yaguchi-san has a great respect and reverence for the airline industry from the air control tower all the way down to the gate attendants because he not only takes great care in showcasing how integral each job is but he also does his best to humanize each character he focuses on. I'm sure after you see this flick you'll gain a new respect for the folks that bust their humps to make sure you make it from point A to B. |
