User ReviewGabriel KA great low-key film from Chile that seems in a lot of ways a perfect fit for the Sundance Film Festival. It's a psychological and sometimes tense potrayal of three characters, reminiscent in a way of Roman Polanski's debut "Knife in Water". You can tell there were a lot of improvisations while filming it. Definitely worth checking out.
User ReviewCarolyn CThis Chilean film follows the disintegration of a family and friends at a beach house during the Easter holiday. Fueled by drink, drugs, and Marco's alluring and trouble-making new girlfriend, a middle-class family and their guests lose their reserve as rivalries flare and sexual energy erupts between same-sex and mixed partners. At least I didn't fall asleep during this one.
User ReviewAlberto MAll the scenes in this movie feels like a folk song: moody, sad and somewhat vague. Even though the acting isn't that good and the script wanders too much, it's a nice effort from chilean director Sebastian Campos. Loved the music by Xaviera & Los Imposibles.
User ReviewIgnacio CEl director cambio su nombre de Sebastian Campos a Sebastian Lelio.
