User ReviewSuzy CAnother period film, with Camryn Manheim in a brassiere, and partial nudity and health-craze references!
User ReviewYahn IThis movie is hilarious, I can't believe it took 20 yrs to even hear about this. As good as lebowski....I know a bold statement.... But if you like crazy films packed full of great one liners about vaginas, dicks, farts and shits, this movie is for you.
User ReviewRoger WWhoever dislikes this film must be the one who thinks he/she will live forever by following what's written on the back of his/her beloved cereal box! Terrific directing by Parker! Terrific performances by ALL actors, especially Michael Lerner and Antony Hopkins!
User ReviewDober ManA great movie! Some very unforgettable characters. Hopkins shines in this movie. It's hard to believe that he was also Hannibal Lector at about the same time this movie was made. He has a great range as an actor. "Meat and potatoes! Meat and potatoes! Meat and potatoes!" Suffice to say, I can't bring myself to eat yogurt anymore because of this movie.
User ReviewJoshua CSo many "professional" movie reviews call this movie crap, but those professional reviews are the real crap! This movie was hilarious and clever, with awesome acting! So many individuals have submitted very positive reviews on this movie, saying the same thing: I don't understand why this movie got such a bad reputation. If you like real satire humor, you want to watch this movie.
User ReviewPaul DGreat cast with great performances. Hopkins shows how versatile he is and I wish he would do more comedic rolls. Cusack plays a naive entrepreneur willing to do anything to make it big, and Broderick is hilarious. The twisted storyline in the movie hits home with the fairly recent trend of natural living moving to the mainstream. I like movies that dare to try something original. The humor in Road to Welville is groundbreaking and will catch you by surprise at every twisted turn. The perfect comedy for a thinking person who doesn't take themselves to seriously.
User ReviewTeimuraz KThis is one of my top ten fav. If you have never seen it you must NOW! Such a good story with some truth behind it, org story with so meny things going on.I LOVE IT!!!
User ReviewJeff H"Oh, no, no, I can't eat fifteen gallons of yoghurt." "Oh, it's not going in that end, Mr. Lightbody." The humour in this film is spot on. Matthew Broderick spends the entire film alternating between dazed bemusement and shocked outrage. A classic. " I wasn't masturbating, I was massaging my colon." "I know what the colon looks like, and it doesn't stick up in the air!"
