Reel Film Reviews - 3/10 by David NusairFrustratingly misguided from the word go...
User Review - 8/10 by Barclay JScare the crap out of me?: yes please Best British horror of 2010: very likely Micro budgeted maybe, but the creature effects were absolutely horrifying! fab little movie that leaves most questions unanswered, but makes you question everything you just saw....I loved it.
User Review - 6/10 by JE GHmmmm Not the worst thing I have seen. Interesting, claustrophobic set up. Not much of a pay off. Did have a couple of scenes that gave me chills.
User Review - 6/10 by Mark MAn interesting, independent horror film that takes the possession genre in slightly new directions. There are some genuinely creepy moments in this film, but it never quite develops them into something coherent and memorable. Still, there are couple of scenes that make it worthy of three stars. An austere cinematic aesthetic and a supernatural ontology that seems partly derived from Bergman's Hour of the Wolf don't quite save this film from being disposable. Despite all its flaws, boring moments, and overly-pretentious choices that don't fit, The Possession of David O' Reilly is still an enjoyable if not memorable horror film from the IFC Midnight series.
User Review - 6/10 by James TClaustrophobic! Giles Alderson, as Daivd, delivers a believable performance as a man on a downward mental spiral into insanity.
User Review - 6/10 by Scott WPretty weak payoff, but it was better than crap like paranormal activitiy
User Review - 6/10 by Jayme HThe plot is weak but the monsters are amazing. A good watch for monster and demon fans.
User Review - 4/10 by Ellen Gaka The Torment. A missed opportunity. What should have been a British Paranormal Activity, becomes lost in the attempts to scare the viewer.
User Review - 4/10 by Yuvett SUna espantosa película inglesa, donde hacen creer algo sobrenatural donde no lo hay, no vale la pena ver
User Review - 4/10 by Marty DNothing was on TV, so I put this movie on......this movie starts off pretty intriguing. and it does a good job of holding your interest. it isn't until it is over that you realize hardly anything happened, nothing was explained, and all and all it was extremely monotonous. a guy sees a monster walking outside. no one else sees it.
