User Review - 10/10 by Joshua SWonderful documentary about the history, etymology, and cultural application of this word. Actually does great job of showing both sides of the debate. By the way, Paul Mooney is freaking funny while making some really serious points.
User Review - 10/10 by irene ca great documentary regarding the "N" word and how through the history of american life it started as a word to identify a group of people and how through the history it has become part of the language of hip-hop and rap. unforntune there are way too many people in america that still to this day shows no respect for others and continue to use the word the wrong way. it is an excellent documentary with both black and white persons speaking about it. very educational.

This is ultimately not the worst thing that could happen - balance has been all but lost nowadays - but in the end, the film feels like a jumble of talking heads rather than a cohesive narrative.
